In just 11 days, our country will celebrate fathers, paternal bonds, and the importance each one plays in our society. But, let’s face it–dad deserves more than recognition on Father’s Day, he needs something to commemorate it, too. And, you’ve only got a few days to find the perfect gift. Never fear—in keeping with annual tradition, Rose Pallet has scoured the net for some awesome DIY gifts—made from old pallets, that are perfect for Dear Ol’ Dad. So, grab a used pallet, a few tools, some paint or stain, and get to work!

  1. If your dad is like most, he probably has quite a few baseball hats for those bad hair (or no hair) days. And, they might be scattered throughout the house. Help him keep them organized with this pallet hat rack.
  2. Perhaps dad has an extensive music collection on vinyl records. This pallet record stand will not only organize his treasure in one place, it is also a unique way to display his favorite LPs.
  3. These wall-mounted game tables are the perfect accent for any basement, man cave, out-building, or other space that dad calls his own. He’ll be happy to have a place to sit with friends and play checkers, chess, or cards.
  4. What dad doesn’t love a dip in the pool? This simple, but useful pallet pool storage rack makes it easy for dad to store his goggles, towel, or whatever else he needs to enjoy a leisurely swim.

We hope these ideas inspire you to make this Father’s Day even more enjoyable for the amazing dad or father figure in your life. And, if you need any help along the way (or a pallet or two), you know where to find the pros. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads reading this post; we hope it’s a wonderful and relaxing day!
