Using Industry Data and Trends to Guide Pallet Decisions
According to a recent industry survey conducted by Modern Materials Handling, pallet buyers are increasingly looking to providers for information or data to help guide pallet decisions. That’s why Rose Pallet is active and involved in a variety of industry trade groups.
Our team takes pride in offering more than a product to our customers. We work hard to stay on top of the latest industry data and trends, material availability, equipment advancements, and other information to help you make well-informed decisions concerning your pallets. To do so, we attend or participate in wood pallet and packaging trade shows, seminars, classes, and conferences.
First up on our list is the Western Pallet Association Annual Meeting held Jan 14-18 in Rancho Mirage, CA. Material handling professionals from across the country will convene to discuss ideas as well as learn about various topics affecting the industry including process improvement, OSHA preparedness, and labor/hiring.
As in past years Chaille Brindley, publisher of Pallet Enterprise magazine, will speak to attendees on how the industry has changed, navigating challenges, and preparing for success in 2022 and beyond. In addition, there will be a panel discussion covering the labor crisis and an interactive keynote by Jim Mathis that focuses on winning leadership strategies for managers of pallet companies. Following this meeting is the NWPCA Annual Leadership Conference (ALC) on March 9-11 in Carlsbad, CA. This year’s theme is Building Resilience & Sustainability into the Supply Chain. The ALC Conference is always a great opportunity to make new connections, learn from experts in the field, and even get a glimpse into the best practices of other pallet companies.
Ultimately, we’re really excited to expand our knowledge and sharpen our skills. After all, the more we learn, the better we can guide our clients into making the right pallet decisions for their supply chain needs. In the meantime, if you have questions about pallet management, please contact us. We’re happy to help at any point in your pallet procurement process.
