Education Provides the Edge in the Pallet Industry

Pallet buyers are looking for more from their vendors. Beyond the pallet itself, customers need guidance with inventory management, forecasting, and budgeting just to name a few areas. That requires know-how. And the best way to know how? Continuing education.

That’s why Rose Pallet makes learning a priority for our staff. First up on our list of continuing education events in 2021 is the Western Pallet Association Annual Meeting held April 16-19 in Rancho Mirage, CA. We’re beyond excited to re-connect with colleagues face-to-face (albeit six feet apart) and discuss ideas as well as learn about various topics affecting the industry including risk management and supply/demand.

Of all the seminars at this year’s meeting, the one we’re looking forward to the most is a lecture by Chaille Brindley entitled “Prepping Your Business for the Changing Pallet Industry Landscape.” Understanding what lies ahead will help us better serve our customers and assist with all aspects of pallet management. Following this meeting is the NWPCA Annual Leadership Conference in Orlando. Postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19, the event was originally scheduled for spring, but is now slated for fall. This conference is always a great opportunity to make new connections, learn from experts in the field, and even get a glimpse into the best practices of other pallet companies.  As more information is released about this event, we will update you on our blog.

Ultimately, we’re really excited for what 2021 will bring, especially in the way of expanding our knowledge and sharpening our skills. As we go along, we’ll be sure to report back to you on all of the best practices we’ve learned. After all, the more we know, the better we can deliver exceptional, value-based pallet solutions in 2021 and beyond. Happy New Year from the educated experts at Rose Pallet!
