Salute to our Active Military and Veterans

Since Armed Forces Day occurs on Saturday, May 21, and Memorial Day will be celebrated Monday, May 30, it is the perfect time to reflect upon the bravery, dedication, and service that our nation’s military demonstrates 365 days a year.

Our entire team is grateful for the freedom our Armed Forces affords all citizens of the United States and we count it a privilege to live, work, and play in the U.S.A. In these turbulent times, it is especially evident there is no greater country on the planet. And it is due, in large part, to you!

So today, Rose Pallet would like to publicly salute you. Thank you, servicemen and women, and your families for all you have sacrificed to protect this great nation, our traditions, and values.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

There are many ways in which you can support our nation’s heroic military and veterans this month and throughout the year including displaying the American Flag at your home or business, sending a care package to a soldier through USOCARES, or simply shaking the hand of a military person in uniform and thanking him or her for his or her service.

You can also show your support by buying from veteran-owned businesses. As a woman-owned business, we know firsthand the importance and impact of your patronage—it means a great deal to us. That’s why we urge you to check out our previous post detailing several vet-owned businesses that specialize in—you guessed it—wood products. Pay them a visit or purchase their goods online.
