Ahhh…spring is in the air—and, just in time! But, that’s not all. If you’re looking to increase efficiency and warehouse space by receiving pallets only when needed, Rose Pallet is a “just-in-time” or JIT supplier of innovative and cost-effective pallets and containers. As part of your supply chain, we have the capability to deliver pallets on demand anywhere in the country.

As a purchasing manager, you know the challenges of keeping overhead low. Provided you have an accurate pallet usage forecast, it’s no longer necessary to carry a large inventory of pallets, which can take up space in your warehouse and lead to increased operational costs. Using a Forecasting Including Trends and Seasonal (FITS) variable formula is the easiest way to plan for pallet usage. Pallet Enterprise, the leading pallet and sawmill magazine in America, has an excellent article covering tips on forecasting entitled “Forecasting Pallet Usage for JIT Delivery” by Andrew Mosqueda.

JIT Pallet DeliveryArmed with an accurate forecast, it is possible to order the correct amount of pallets just when you need them and not a moment sooner or later. But, be sure to partner with a reliable pallet provider with access to a continuous supply of pallets regardless of season or time of year. The last thing you want is to spend time developing an accurate forecast only to have a vendor fail to deliver.
