Pallets Move the World’s…People!

It’s back! The annual race to raise funds for The Pallet Foundation begins in three days. Gather your co-workers, neighbors, and friends to participate in this virtual race for a great cause. All our collective efforts will go toward improving the safety of our industry and our environment.

When it comes to exercise, getting going is often the hardest part. An accountability partner can make a big difference. In that spirit, we invite you to join Rose Pallet and many others for the third annual virtual race to benefit The Pallet Foundation. (The Pallet Foundation supports research, education/training, and safety in the wood packaging industry while promoting the industry to end-users. Read more about it here.)

All fitness levels are welcome to participate. You can choose to walk, run, or cycle your way to your personal goal. Collectively, the goal this year is to log 5,000 miles and raise $10,000. All athletes have two weeks to complete their activity from anywhere around the world. The race starts on October 15 and runs through October 31.

There is a nominal fee to participate, but it includes a race tee. Once you’re registered, you can track your activity and see others’ progress through the Strava app. In addition, the Foundation is providing a leaderboard for the most up-to-date stats. This friendly competition is a great way to get moving and stay motivated while also connecting with athletes from locations near and far. We encourage you to sign up today and start sharing stories and words of encouragement.

For more information and to register, visit palletcentral.com/page/virtualrace. After you register, you’ll receive tools to help you track your progress and enter your stats.

And don’t forget to leverage social media to raise awareness about this event and your accomplishment.  Use hashtag #palletfunrun when posting.

Happy racing from all of us at Rose Pallet!
