philanthropyIt’s hard to believe that pool and beach weather is just around the corner. As the seasons change, we always like to reflect on our business growth and recognize that we wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of our local neighbors. As a result, Rose Pallet is proud to support a variety of philanthropic efforts throughout the year that provide aid to our surrounding community.

Below is a listing of the organizations we’ve supported thus far in 2017:

  1. Advertising support for the Misericordia Women’s League Annual Fundraiser held on March 17. This organization has raised more than $4 million to create facilities and programs that enhance the lives of more than 600 children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Funds help individuals meet essential daily needs and work toward a brighter future.
  1. Donation to American Heart Association Jump Rope for Heart Students who participate in this event are helping children affected by heart conditions, and learning about their own hearts and how to stay healthy by getting physically active!
  1. Donation to the Bridgeview Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund. The Chamber annually awards scholarships to assist students with their college expenses. Eligible students are residents of Bridgeview, IL, or employees (and/or their dependents) of a current Chamber Member Company. The recipients are chosen based on academic performance, financial need, and community involvement.
  1. Volunteering through cooking meals for families staying at area Ronald McDonald Houses as part of the Meals from the Heart

If you have a charitable organization that is near and dear to your heart, tell us about it or comment below. Rose Pallet appreciates your feedback and we are always willing to assist when we can!

Enjoy the summer season ahead and stay tuned to our blog for updates on our charitable outreach in 2017.
