remanufactured palletsIf you manage shipping functions within an organization, you know how important it is to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency in order to save money. Remanufactured pallets are a quality product that efficiently transport goods of all shapes and sizes. Plus, they are a cost-effective alternative to new wooden pallets.  The remanufactured variety are constructed from various components of used (or recycled) pallet material. They can be customized to any specifications or size required.  By utilizing recycled pallet wood, the cost to procure a remanufactured pallet drops between 20 and 40 percent compared with a traditional wood pallet.

The process of making remanufactured pallets begins by breaking down unusable pallets, or those that have reached the end of their lifecycle.  Any components that can be salvaged will be used again in the remanufactured pallet.  This process is environmentally friendly because the lumber is reclaimed rather than being discarded, destined to fill up a landfill.  And, in most cases, the finished remanufactured product looks new or nearly new.

Industries that need odd-sized or custom pallets, such as manufacturing or food & beverage, rely on remanufactured pallets to help cut costs.  Other ideal situations include one-way transit, companies that procure small quantities of pallets, or for material handling systems that require pallets with unique board spacing.

Remanufactured pallets are a specialty of Rose Pallet, along with new, reconditioned, and combo pallets.  For more information about remanufactured pallets or any of our other products, please contact us.
