material handlingCalling all material handling and logistics professionals! The 31st annual Material Handling and Logistics Conference will be held Sunday, Sept. 11, through Wednesday, Sept. 14, in Park City, Utah. The event boasts a blend of over 50 educational sessions organized into six tracks, a dream lineup of Keynotes and presenters, and peer networking guaranteed to provide long-term professional relationships.

Plus, attendees can tour an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Manufacturing Facility on Sunday or Wednesday and explore an environment delivering world-class quality equipment for a variety of markets through effective material handling and logistics programs and strategies.

Other benefits include a Keynote speech delivered by Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time, on Monday, Sept. 12, and a musical concert performed by Joe Walsh of Eagles fame on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

If we could recommend one track to our clients it would be Track 6: What’s Hot and What’s Next. This line-up includes sessions covering ideas and offerings that are in the queue for the next incarnation of warehousing and distribution. Functions and technologies associated with inbound activity in a Distribution Center, including pallet systems, will be discussed. Automated storage will be another hot topic in this Track which covers, among other things, reliable containment using pallets and cases.
