walk of hope sponsorThe Cancer Support Center “Walk of Hope,” an event that is near and dear to our heart, is just a little over one week away. That’s still plenty of time for you to get involved!

On Sunday, October 7th, folks from all across the Chicagoland area will convene in Homewood, IL, to participate in this annual Walk to raise awareness and funds for The Cancer Support Center. The Center provides oncology support services, at no cost, for anyone living with cancer. Its programs strive to improve and enhance the quality of life of cancer patients and their loved ones, from diagnosis to survivorship.

For the second year in a row, the organizers of the Walk encourage all participants to come dressed as their favorite superhero to help defeat cancer. The event kicks off at the Center located at 2028 Elm Road and participants can choose to walk a 1-mile, 3-mile, or 5-mile route. Rose Pallet is honored and privileged to donate to this event as a “Support Sponsor,” especially since our CEO and co-founder, Alan Rose, is a cancer survivor. Look for our logo on the T-shirts and programs as well as signage along the route!

If you’re local to Chicago, we encourage you to lace up your shoes and take part in this super-fun event for an amazing cause. Your support is critical to help provide the resources needed for patients and their families who rely on The Center. Each year, due to donors, The Center is able to increase its service hours significantly. With your help, this year-over-year increase can continue. Register to Walk today!

The Cancer Support Center is a community based, volunteer driven, donor supported organization. Programs and services are always delivered by professional therapists, counselors, nutritionists, and experts in a warm, welcoming and nurturing setting.
