What We’re Thankful For in 2021

It’s hard to believe the holidays are upon us. Like last year, the celebration may look a little different. But we still have so much to be thankful for in this country.

In all things, Give Thanks signage

We hope you can spend this Thanksgiving with the ones you love, eat delicious food, and show gratitude.  Before we do likewise, Rose Pallet would like to share our annual Top 10 list of things for which we’re thankful:

  1. Family. This one always tops our list. Not only is Rose Pallet owned by sisters Mia and Amy, but these ladies also impart a family mindset in all employees. They work to ensure that everyone on the team is connected, supported, and has the proper work-life balance.
  2. Employees. In challenging times, our team has rolled up our sleeves and got to work. We are thankful for their dedication and dependability—especially when so may companies are experiencing a labor crisis.
  3. Customers. In spite of shortages, price fluctuations, and longer lead times, our customers have stayed loyal. We are extremely grateful for your business and the ability to serve you.
  4. Wood. From this renewable, sustainable resource we get our wonderful wooden pallets; without which, we wouldn’t be able to ‘move the world.’
  5. Lumber Mills. From shutdowns and lack of labor, we know the mills have had to overcome many obstacles. Yet, our network has come through time-and-time again. We thank you!
  6. Outreach. Even with all the shortages this year, nothing could ever diminish our philanthropic spirit. We are grateful that we were able to continue our outreach program in 2021 and contribute to a variety of worthy nonprofits.
  7. Technology. Although our office has opened safely with in-person work, not all our clients have the same circumstance. Video conferencing has made it possible for us to collaborate remotely with them, as needed.
  8. The NWPCA. The National Wooden Pallet & Container Association provides invaluable resources, education and networking opportunities to wood packaging professionals like us.
  9. The Pallet Design System™. With shortages in standard-sized pallets, this software system helped us design alternative options for our clients.
  10. High-Shipping Season. Due to the pandemic and increased demand for e-commerce, high-shipping season is no longer “seasonal.” And while it has created difficulties in sourcing pallets, we can’t deny that it has created exciting times in the pallet industry.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone…Thank you for your business!
