Back by popular demand, the NWPCA 2016 Fall Plant Tours are being held October 11-12 in the beautiful and scenic coastal city of Monterey, California.

In addition to the main attraction, there are plenty of activities planned for attendees. First up, golfers of all skill levels can elect to participate in a round at Del Monte Golf Course, the oldest course in continuous operation west of the Mississippi and one of the top elite golf courses, on Tuesday morning, October 11. Later that afternoon, the event officially kicks off with educational seminars followed by a networking reception.

On Wednesday, October 12, plant tours commence at Valley Pallet Inc., a state-of-the-art pallet manufacturing and recycling facility, and end at a nearby farm harvesting and processing plant in Salinas, CA. Since the area enjoys a marine climate ideal for grape vineyards and vegetables, it is the perfect place to see how pallets are used in the transport of fresh food and produce.

With plant tours, two receptions, and group meals, this event is a great opportunity to reconnect with or meet new industry colleagues from around the country, all while exploring and learning about manufacturing operational excellence.
