What is better than receiving roses?  Giving roses.  In fact, our CEO Alan Rose, is so eager to give back to his surrounding community and other worthy causes that he established the Alan J. Rose Foundation in October 2015 for the sole purpose of generating awareness and raising funds for various philanthropic organizations.

His latest fundraiser occurred on February 12th in Delray Beach, Florida.  Invited guests were treated to live music, dinner, and dancing in exchange for a donation to the Caridad Center, a free health clinic serving uninsured children and families in South Florida. In additional to healthcare, the Center also provides outreach services including food, rent, and clothing to more than 2,000 families and educational enrichment services to up to 75 children each school year.  Alan’s event raised $4,000 for the Center and he was thrilled to present a check to Dollene Ewing, Development Director at Caridad Center.

In addition to fundraising through his foundation, Alan’s employees at Rose Pallet have also been busy lending assistance to local Chicago organizations.  Our vice president, Amy Angellotti, gladly accepted a client’s invitation to donate to the American Heart Association.  And, next up, the entire team at Rose Pallet is donating to support the ‘I have a voice’ International Gala on Saturday, April 16th, presented by GiGi’s Playhouse, an established series of achievement centers serving children and adults with Down syndrome and their families. The centers offer therapeutic, educational, and career training programs free of charge so that cost is never a barrier to participation or achievement. All donations for the Gala go toward programs and campaigns offered at the Tinley Park, IL, center.

If you have a charitable organization that is near and dear to your heart, tell us about it or comment below. Rose Pallet appreciates your feedback and we are always willing to assist when we can!  And, please stay tuned to our blog for quarterly updates concerning our Community Outreach.
