philanthropyIt’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner, which means plenty of holiday celebrations are not far behind.  This season, we are grateful for our business growth and recognize our success is due, in part, to our neighbors and surrounding community who have referred us business or otherwise supported us.  As a result, Rose Pallet is proud to give back through various philanthropy efforts.

But, in particular, this winter we will be focusing on two causes: serving as a collection site for the 26th Annual Bridgeview Chamber of Commerce Food & Toy Drive, which runs through Wednesday, December 9, and in raising funds for asthmatic research through our CEO’s recently established philanthropic non-profit, the Alan J. Rose Foundation.

The Food & Toy Drive benefits needy families and children in Bridgeview and surrounding cities.  Over the years, the Chamber has collected and distributed over 1,600 toys to children. Visit our collection site at 7647 W. 100th Place, Suite D, in Bridgeview to donate a new, unwrapped toy for a boy or girl or non-perishable food items. Rose Pallet will continue to collect through December 9.

The Alan J. Rose Foundation was established by our CEO last month for the sole purpose of generating awareness and raising funds for various causes in the Chicago-land area.  Alan Rose has always felt a tremendous need to give back to those who have made his success possible and, through his non-profit group, will be able to impact even more people for the greater good.  His first organized fundraiser occurred on October 9th, proceeds of which benefited the University of Chicago Asthma and COPD Center.  He is currently planning additional events for this and other worthy causes.

If you have a charitable organization that is near and dear to your heart, tell us about it or comment below. Rose Pallet appreciates your feedback and we are always willing to assist when we can!  In the meantime, we hope you will stop by our office soon to drop off a toy and remain for a visit.

Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season ahead and stay tuned to our blog for updates on the Foundation and other charitable outreach.
